State Congress: l am coming to unify Bayelsa APC, says Dan Igrubia, Chairmanship aspirant

Hon. Dan Igrubia says he represents the unity, focus and purposeful leadership that the All Progressives Congress (APC) needs in Bayelsa state.
Dan Igrubia is a former Commissioner, Bayelsa state Local Government Service Commission.
A graduate of Estate Management, Rivers State University, Igrubia is a political strategist, who, as Director of Staff, David Lyon/Degi Campaign Secretariat, contributed hugely to the fall of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogbia local government area during the past governorship election in the state.
In a statement he issued and made available to Niger Delta Herald in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital, Igrubia said he is presenting himself to serve as the next Chairman of the APC in Bayelsa as the party prepares to hold her state congresses across the country on Saturday.
The statement reads: “The name Hon. Dan  Igrubia  for every member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State is one that does not require much introduction considering the various roles I have played both in service and in the last governorship elections in the State.
“I hail from Emeyal Community  in  Ogbia LGA,  Bayelsa State; a bridge builder and a very committed member of the Party, one who is hungry at all times to render services that will attract victory for our Great Party.
“With the party State Congress expected to hold on Saturday ,there can’t be any moment more appropriate than now for me to formally present myself to you as an ASPIRANT to the office of the State Chairman of  our Great Party.
“You are not unaware of the various roles I have played in the past to ensure the reconciliation of factions in the Party and the party VICTORY  in the last Govship Election.
“I want to reassure you that my commitment to unify the Party is even more burning and stronger now than ever and to reposition it in line with the Next Level Agenda of our party.”
“If elected Chairman, Igrubia vowed to work with the Exco at the state and all other critical stakeholders to ensure total unification of  party members at all levels and ensure that all organs of the party are funtional.
He promised to ensure that all information about activities and programs of the party are promptly communicated  to all structures to avoid collapse of communication, adding that accountability would be his guiding principles.
The Chairmanship aspirant said all critical stakeholders, including youths and women would be given desired sense of belonging as members of our party, vowing to ensure victory of the party in upcoming elections if voted chairman.
“I will ensure that the Party (APC) in Bayelsa becomes a household name to the envy of all in the state, as I will in particular break the jinx of the party losing elections in Ogbia LGA.
“My dear respected members of our Great Party, let us realize, that  there cannot be any better time than now, that the right decision we make now in electing non-factional members to head our party structures will determine our strength, our unity and our victory in the lections ahead.
“Let us vote for the unity and strength of our great party. Let us do everything humanly and legally possible in recovering the trust bestowed overwhelmingly on us by the Bayelsa people by electing a focused, transparent and proactive leadership,” he added.
