The former Stationery Stores star asserted that the victories against former Nigeria Professional Football League Champions Enugu Rangers,Lobi Stars and CAF Champions league campaigners Rivers United was indicative that the Yenagoa based side can play any team in the continent.

Oladimeji noted that the recent friendly game with Enyimba International was indicative that the victory against AS Ashanti Golden Boys in the first round was no fluke, saying that the Aiteo Cup Champions will advance to the group stage with a convincing win against CS Sfaxien.

On the secret of the team’s success story, he attributed it to the camaraderie in the squad coupled with the continuous support for the technical crew and the management of the club.

He however commended the management of the club for prioritizing the welfare of the players.

Meanwhile,Bayelsa United yesterday beat Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors 2-0 at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa in a warm up game ahead of CS Sfaxien clash next week.
