Leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State have rolled out drums to celebrate the one year in officer of the State Executive Committee led by the Chairman, Solomon Agwana, declaring that the PDP led administration of Gov. Douye Diri has done well in the area of infrastructural development, human empowerment, security and peace.
According to the PDP Leaders, despite the noticeable challenges in the country, the party is totally satisfied and overjoyed with the performance track record of the Prosperity Government by the avalanche of progress witnessed in our State.
The PDP leaders, in a statement issued in Yenagoa by the State Party Chairman, Hon. Solomon Agwana (JP) and State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Ogoli Ebiye, stated that despite the challenges of codvid-19 pandemic, they expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty for keeping every member of the State Exco and their family members alive and well, and for the high diligence for the work of the Party, by Individual party officers, stressing that everyone has performed above average.
According to the Statement,”The Party also expressed deep appreciation to His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Douye Diri’, the Miracle Governor of Bayelsa State and His Deputy, His Excellency, Lawrence Ewruhjakpor, for giving Party maximum support and encouragement needed to enable us carry out our assigned tasks”
“It is no gainsaying the fact that as the leader of the Party in the State, His Excellency, the Governor of Bayelsa State has done so much to help us attain the giant strides already achieved by the State PDP.
In a similar fashion, we are totally satisfied and overjoyed with the performance track record of the Prosperity Government by the avalanche of progress witnessed in our State, particularly with the restoration of peace in all parts of the State; the inauguration of ongoing roads and other infrastructure projects; and the return to our fold of many defected members back to our Party – the PDP”.
“Going forward, PDP Bayelsa has outlined a clear path through which our Party will assume its rightful position, once again, as a preferred Party of choice in the State; and enjoin members to do only those things that add value to our public image and standing”.
